I will be thankful for so many blessings and gifts…a sound mind, healthy body, home, family, friends, fulfilling work, and these are just a few.
I will steward these things, worshipping God in how I care for them, for His glory.
I will open my hands with childlike trust, exposing all I hold dear, knowing that He may choose to remove anything for purposes known only in His unfathomable love, and for my ultimate good.
I will remember the Cross and the price He paid for my freedom and redemption.
I will raise the banner of Christ, my strength and shield, in every battle that I face, for I do not fight alone.
I will consider that the only legacy worth leaving for generations after me, is to have followed Christ.
I will live today as my last in this life, knowing that tomorrow is not promised. If I wake to the sunrise, I will start again from the top of this list.
